When you start to plan your wedding day, although it’s very exciting, it may also seem like you’ve got a mountain to climb and you’re not quite sure where to start.
Here are a few tips to help you along the way to a stress free planning of your dream wedding day.
Set A Budget
Start by drawing up a budget and working out how much you want to spend on each aspect of your wedding. It’s a good idea to draw up a list of all the details you are willing to negotiate on, and those that are most important to you. This way, you will have an idea of how to distribute your budget.
Ask For Help
Don’t be afraid to ask for help from friends and family with any projects that you may have, whether this is searching for a florist, or helping you with the invitations.
Create A Checklist
Create a checklist of what needs to be done and when each task needs to be done by. Make sure to keep it up-to-date so you know exactly what still needs to be done (and by whom) at any time.
Although DIY projects are a great way to keep costs down, taking on too many can be really time consuming. There’s also the concern that if you have to rush things, the quality won’t be as high as you would like.
If all of the above sounds a bit daunting to you, and you have a decent budget, then why not hire a professional wedding planner to take care of your big day? They organize weddings for a living and will allow you to put your feet up whilst they do all the hard work, whilst still having your say on all the important details.
PS: Once you hit the honey moon stage, remember to get a fascial stretch therapy session to relax and cool down from all the chaos!
